Dear Hope Church family, We greet you in the name of our precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We, the members of the Board of Trustees of The Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions, meeting on March 28, 2011 at the Bible Presbyterian Church, Collingswood, New Jersey, do extend to you our sincerest congratulations on the occasion of your 25th Anniversary. It is with greatest joy to hear of your labor of love in the ministry of Jesus Christ, not only in your local area, but reaching out to other lands. It is our earnest desire and expectation that the Hope Church family will continue to grow in number as well as in your walk with the Lord, and that you will be useful instruments of His grace in our day. Be assured that our prayers are with you. We greatly rejoice with you, our beloved brethren from Hope B-P Church, on this significant spiritual milestone of your Silver Jubilee. May your hearts be filled with praise to God as you recall the blessings He has blessed you in these past 25 years of standing upon His Word and reaching out to the people of Adelaide. May our Lord continue to say of you, “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8) We pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you strong and steadfast as you serve Him and glorify Him in the years ahead, and until our Lord Jesus Christ returns! The session and members of Maranatha BPC rejoices with you and your session and members on this blessed commemoration of your church 25th thanksgiving Anniversary. The Lord have blessed the ministry in Hope BPC which was incepted in 1986 with His covenant faithfulness and your committed stewardship over the past 25 years, providing edifying services to the strengthening up of the saints in the word of God .We are encouraged by your efforts in evangelistic gospel missions and outreach to the saving of souls (as we met some of your members at the gospel stations in batam recently) and the equipping of the saints in these last days. We noted that you have a vibrant group of young people growing in the fear of God which augurs well for the future of the church. It is our prayer that you and your session will continue stedfast to labour fervently and persevere on with the notable work of grounding your members in the knowledge and fear of God and that with Lord’s enablement, the church will continue to grow in spirit and in numbers and be a vibrant gospel witness and a reformed and fundamental church in Eastern Australia and beyond. Let us be encouraged for we know that our labour of love is not in vain in the Lord (1 Cor 15:58). May the Lord strengthen and challenge us on this blessed occasion by this needful Pauline advice to us all, Rom 12;11-13 “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality”.
