Missions Report – Rev Sun Sokha

Rev Okman Ki, Elder Michael Lee and Hopefuls,

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Thank you for your true love, prayers, care and support. We always keep your love in our hearts and prayers. Hope you all are doing well. We are doing OK by His daily grace and mercies.

Here is the updated news:

  1. Cambodia situation: Covid-19 situation is still high risk, with 400 plus people infected daily and the death rate around 10 plus. Especially, the new Delta virus is spreading here in Cambodia as well. Some places have gone into complete lockdown. The government has done her best by providing vaccines to people from ages 18 and above, and this month teenagers also got their vaccines as well. Praise the Lord for His love and care upon this nation too.
  2. Praises report:

Even in such a difficult time, through your help and prayer with support, we can do many things:

  1. Praise the Lord for healing some of our church members who got Covid-19 recently.
  2. We sent the support for 10 pastors and their families because they also face too many financial and health problems. They are very thankful and glad.
  3. We sent special love gifts to our brother in Christ who used to serve the Lord faithfully, but he made a mistake in his journey by doing investment with his friends. He joined this group by having name position (though he still serves in the church) but because this group did bad things by cheating people he was sentenced for 10 months. He sent a message to me that he will be released by next month. He is still serving people in the prison by sharing God’s Word and singing together with the prisoners. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness. Hope God will continue to use him for His glory.
  4. Buy rice and some other items for the villagers, church members and the community.
  5. Sending some masks and alcohol to the commune leaders to share with the villagers.
  6. One church in Kompong Speu Province was completely built and waits for their inauguration next month 17 September. We really praise the Lord in such a hard time God still provides through His godly people to do His work in this land of Cambodia.
  7. We are making all kind of ways to reach out to the lost souls, building up the saints and encouraging our dear local leaders through sharing exhortations through Zoom, Google Meeting, Messenger and even WhatsApp.
  8. Prayer Requests:

Please continue to keep us, Faith Krang Angkrang Church and Cambodia in your prayers. Especially pray that we can make good use to preach the Word to those who are unsaved. Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide whatever we need, wisdom, good health and strength to serve Him faithfully.

Please pray that the Lord have mercies on our land by removing all these viruses from us.

Thank you once again for your love, care and prayers with supports. Your support helps us a lot. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers too.

With many thanks and love,

Sun Sokha, Lee Nam Soon, Jemima and Daniel
